Circle of Friends
Another Christmas card! I really did get an early start on my cards this year. Every year I say I am going get started early and every year, I am starting them in November or December. This card used a stamp from Stamping Bella called Circle of Friends. I love the non-traditional view of this group of snowmen, especially the one that is looking straight up. I stamped the image with Memento ink and then colored everyone's scarves and hats and things with Prismacolor pencils. Since my snowmen are white and they were stamped onto a white background, I used a light blue to create some shading on the bodies of the snowmen. It gives them a little more definition and makes them stand out a little bit more against the white background. I used Marvy scalloped circle punches to punch out the image and the backing circle and then sponged some dark blue ink onto the background circle. All papers and card stock are from DCWV and the snowflake brad is from my stash, I think it is from The Paper Studio. Thanks for visiting me today!
