Twisted Thursday--Your Favorite Color

Welcome to another Twisted Thursday! The twist this week is to use your favorite color, how easy is that?? YELLOW is my favorite color, but I especially love it paired with my other two favorite colors red and orange. I think this is just so happy and cheery and it always makes me smile.  Let me tell you that I really needed this color combo right now too! This of course is a digital image from Shirley's 2 Girls and was colored with Copic markers and then I used a Sakura Glitter pen to go over the bars of the cage. My papers are from DCWV and the ribbon is some that I picked up at Big Lots.

We would love to see what you create with your favorite colors. All you have to do is make a card or project and then link it up to the challenge site. Don't forget to visit the rest of the design team, you can find all their links on my sidebar.

Things are still in a state of upheaval here at my house. I still have my one pack of paper and a roll of white ribbon and a roll of red ribbon (another reason that I was happy to see the twist this week!). My friend Angela gave me some paper to stamp on since I lost part of mine and can't seem to find what I do have left. I finally went to Hobby Lobby and bought a new ink pad so that I can stamp. I have some rubber stamps on wooden blocks that I was able to find the other day, so I am going to get inky in the coming days! I can't wait to get the new carpet in so that I can start getting the boxes unpacked. this being able to find nothing is getting very old. Thanks for visiting me today. Hopefully now that I have some paper and ink, I can get back to some semi-regular creating. I appreciate all the kind messages that everyone has left for me, I love all my blogging friends.

Hi Gina! what a cheerful and bright card! I love how you just gave a hint of color to the image in contrast with the full colors of the papers, so well balanced! I love it!
So good to know you are ok and back crafting after the flooding in your area :-) Hugs,
