It SNOWED!

I am so exited that we finally got some snow. I love it! This is one of the cards we made in the Advanced Copic class I taught on Thursday evening. Lots of Magnolia fans in that group! I cute the scalloped ovals out using Nestabilities and then we airbrushed the blue background and then colored in the grass. After coloring both Tilda and the bench with Copic markers, we cut them out and then assembled everything onto our ovals. You can't really tell in this photo, but there are actually two butterflies in different shades of pink and I glued the centers together so it has a 3-D effect. The paper is Making Memories, the ribbon from Hobby Lobby and the stamp is from Magnolia. I got the bench and the Tilda from All that Scraps

This is a snow picture I took last night. It continued to snow during the night so there is a little more now. I just love snow and we rarely get very much. Normally when we get any there is just enough to barely coat the grass. Have a great day and stay warm!

How cool that you are teaching a class. And that Tilda looks so sweet and all ready for Easter, a funny contrast between that card and your picture below. Enjoy your snow while it lasts.

How adorable. I can just barely make out the 2 colors in the butterfly. Gina you really created an adorable little scene with your fabulous image. What a super card for Spring. It would be perfect for Easter.

We have no snow here in Port Aransas :) I like your color combination. As being synesthete I live a life in colors. Synesthesia means that I see colors when I see words and numbers.I transform this in paintings of names and birthdays.

I was in Gina's class, and these cards are very cute. The time flies in her classes, and I always learn something new. I have about 5inches of snow at my home too, so I fed my 4 cats and dog, and have been stamping the day away.

Well, I am glad you like the snow! I am ready for it to end...but we get 135 inches a year, so that will not happen any time soon...

Love the card! The colors are so pretty and the grass looks almost real!

THis is just the sweetest Gina!!! So glad your copic classes are going so good!! I got about 5" at my house, but it is all frozen soild and can only be picked up if broken. Then it just becomes a big sheet of ice!! THe kids had fun playing on it!! Because as you know you couldn't play in it!! Only good for sledding!! Jazmine even took off running and just sled on her belly in the yard!! Her and Bailey are so light that they can walk on it and it doesn't crack!! So no snowman or snowball fight at our house!! Have a great rest of the weekend!!
Hugs:)

Gina this is soooo cute! How great that you are teaching a class!!! I'm still trying to get into a certification class! They seem to be filled or else too far away! :( Gorgeous coloring and I'm glad you got some snow! We got between 8-10" over night and then it sleeted most of today and then turned back to snow tonight. I am stranded... cannot get my car up the driveway! Hubby has to fly tomorrow... not too sure he'll make it! Stay warm and enjoy the white stuff!

Lovely card for a snow day!! Very spring-y!
We got snow...about a day after you, here in VA. Ended up with almost 9" in my area. This never happens here, so it's such a treat!

Look at all that snow!!! We live just South of where the snow stopped...hardly got anything but ice...which is no fun at all... Speaking of fun...I would have loved to have been able to be in the class to make that beautiful card.... Love the blue background behind Tilda.
