Good evening! How is your weekend so far? Other than the fact that I have spent most of the day cleaning house, mine is going okay. I have also had some coloring time, so I can't complain. The challenge this week on the
Riley and Company blog was to make anything but a card. Since spring is hopefully on its way, I thought it would be cute to make something that could hold packs of seeds that I could give to a couple of friends. My little box holds 3-4 packs of seeds. I simply measured my seed packet and made my template from there. If you want the directions if you will leave me a comment or send me an email I will send them to you. I used Gardening Riley, which I really think is my favorite Riley image for some reason. Even though I love all these little images, I think this is the one that has seen the most ink. Riley was stamped onto Neenah Solar Crest paper and then colored with Copic markers. After completing my box, I added the panel of floral paper and then my image.
Last weekend when I was in Memphis, I found some of the Neenah Solar Crest paper and bought a few packs. I think I love it! I have colored several images and so far I really do like it. I am still trying to decide which is my favorite. I used Georgia Pacific for a long time, and was happy with it. But the quality seems to vary from pack to pack. I do wish I could find an affordable alternative that I could just run out and buy instead of waiting on the mail. Thanks for stopping by!
