Make a Wish
I used to never work with purple, but lately I have noticed myself reaching for it more and more, sometimes just as an accent color. I have also made several purple cards too, and I tend to pair the purple with white. Today, I wanted to see if I could make two shades of purple work together. All the stamps on this card came from a Heidi Grace stamp set. I love that flower in the center and when I got this set, my plan was to stamp it in white ink onto a colored card stock. I used CTMH WHite Daisy ink and Palette French Lilac for the flourishes and sentiment. It's a pretty simple card and I like the sentiment because it can be used for a birthday card or for someone embarking on a new adventure in life. All papers came from my slowly shrinking stash of scrap papers.

Stash of scrap papers are invaluable. Youve certainly put yours to good use with this card. I think the purples and white works great. And the flower in white is very nive centerpiece.
WOW Gina, you make purple look good my friend. I'm almost tempted to play with purple some more! NAH - You do a wonderful job with it and I'll let you play with my share too!
Beautiful card!
Love this beautiful white blossom showcased so wonderfully with your pretty purple framing!! Great design!!
This is delightful! I have also found myself you shades of purple recently. Your card really has a fresh clean look. Very pretty.
very pretty, great clean and simple card ;)
Beautiful! I love the colors and clean design!
Gina - You definitely make the purples work WELL together. I have such trouble with purple, but I love your card! Great image :)
As for getting all my brads lined up (from your comment) - I use a piece of plastic canvas and a piercing needle...it actually create a hole large enough for the mini brads and is much easier (and more accurate for me) than a hole puncher :)
Hope you're enjoying the pet scrapbooking session!
One of my favorite colors and I love what you did with it!
Simply elegant! Love the purple! Blessings to you!
This is so pretty. I feel exactly the same about purple. It's growing on me. I love your use of it here. And that flower image is wonderful. Great accent embellishments too.
