Okay, I have a question for those of you that use acetate on your cards. How are you supposed to adhere the stuff? Everything I tried showed through. Right now, it is anchored in the areas behind the other panels. I would welcome any suggestions!
So how do I feel about Digi Stamps? I can see the appeal, the main reason being that the image can be adjusted to different sizes, I love that idea, and I could see being able to use my images is a wider range of projects. Also storage isn't really an issue either. I am running out of storage solutions for wooden and clear stamps. The cost is also on the attractive side. Would I use them again? Yes, I will. Do I like them? A lot better than I thought I would. The biggest drawback isn't the images or anything to do with digital stamps in general. This part of my opinion has nothing to do with this stamp or anything. Not having a computer or a printer in my crafting space is a problem. Right now the computer is upstairs on one end of the house and my crafting space is downstairs on the opposite end of the house. I would definitely need a better printer though if I were to use these on a regular basis. Maybe when I replace my computer, I will be able to get a printer too. Thanks for stopping by!

Gina - I love your card. It's so festive! I adhere my acetate with vellum tape and it works pretty good and you can barely see it. As for digi stamps, I just started using them as well and have to say that I do really LOVE them. Having the ability to adjust the size for me was key! Anyhoo, your card is wonderful and thank so much for playing with us for Twisted Thursday!
how sweet! You got a little giggle out of me. That is adorable!
WTG! You did an awesome job! Blessings to you!
Great card, wonderful image. I too when working with acetate use a frame of some sort so you can not see the tape/glue/dots
Gina, Very festive and fun card. Seems like you have a lot of good suggestions already on how to adhere the acetate to the card. I've done the little glue dots and then disguised them with an embelishment over them or I've just used a brad in the corners to be an embellishment as well as functional. Enjoy your Sunday.

What a fun image and festive theme! I haven't tried the digi-stamp world yet, but you make it very attractive sounding...I especially like the re-sizing options and the "storing" options. Fab job!
Gina - your card is great! The glitter is perfect! I love the embossed acetate - never tried that, but it's now on my 'to-do' list :)
I just started with the digital stamps this summer, and I'm loving them (resizing and price). I find that I need to let my images dry for awhile before coloring them, so I've been printing them out and letting them dry overnight. I typically print a bunch of images on a sheet of cardstock, so I have a lot to choose from in my stash.
Fun card. I don't use acetate very often, but when I do, I usually use brads or eyelets.
Your card is too cute! I've never used acetate, so sorry can't help there. But, now that you've tried digi's you will so love them!
What a fun & festive card! Love the embossed acetate... fabulous touch :)
This is truly lovely and you colored the image so well! tfs!!!
I've never used acetate on my cards so I can't help you there, but I do love that image and what you've done with it! Thanks for sharing the link :)
Wow, this card is so festive! I love the acetate and sparkle you added! I don't know how to adhere acetate except to put the adhesive on parts that will be hidden--sorry I can't help more.
check that out! you go girl
This is totally fabulous. What a wonderful take oh this week's Twisted Thursday challenge. Thanks so much for playing with us. Your card rocks!!
This is such a fabulous card...it's so fun to see the different 'takes' of our designs...the acetate is wonderful too. As far as a printer goes...the one we have at the studio is an HP7000 All in one series...and it's fab...thanks for playing in the TT...Kristine
I like digi stamps more than I thought I would too. You did a great job on this card!
Hi Gina! First of all, your take on the sketch is fabulous!! I would adhere my acetate panel the exact same way that you did. Sometimes I just let the adhesive show. But what you've done here is wonderful!! Second, I have the same problem as you with my printer being upstairs and my computer downstairs!! So, I print my images the night before, all at once, and then color them or make them into cards the next day. I need that rest from running up and down the stairs!! LOL Thanks so much for giving the digi image a try and for playing with us this week!!
