It was my turn to host the March challenge for the Designing DIVAS blog group. Since March 2nd was the birthday of Dr. Seuss and Read Across America Day, I decided to make the challenge reading related. We could make anything inspired by a book, something featuring a book or reading image or make a bookmark. This challenge was great for me too since I am such a avid reader. I will probably do another project too, I need a bookmark. I make them all the time and give them away and then I end up using scraps of paper to mark my place! My card uses this adorable Magnolia image. I colored both the image and the quilt with Copic markers and then cut them out. While I was in Memphis this weekend I bought this Basic Grey pack of paper called Kioshi. The flower came from my LSS and I can't remember who made it. Thanks for stopping by and visiting and if you want some more inspiration, check out the DIVA group on my sidebar.

Grat job on the challenge. That is the perfect image and your paper choice is perfect to go with her. She is reading in a meadow of flowers. Love it.
Gina, I am back again!! I forgot to comment on her hair!! I love the way you gave her different colored strands and make her hair more 3d and textured looking!!
