Sweet Pea Nostalgia

Hello! I hope everyone has had a great weekend full of crafting time. I have had lots of time to color this weekend which makes me very happy! My card tonight uses a Sweet Pea image from the Ching-Chou Kuik's Fantasy Art Collection. I love these images, they are just so much fun to color. I was a little intimidated when I first saw them, especially after watching how my friends Angela colors them. I am glad she finally talked me into trying them. If you remember, Angela is my enabling friend, she started my Copic addiction too! This image is called Nostalgia. I used the sketch from the Fabulous Friday Challenge on PCP since it seemed to fit my image so well. Everything was colored with Copic markers. I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the background. The paper I used has a white core, which slightly showed through when I embossed it. I wanted a little bit of a weathered look so after embossing it, I sponged some distressing ink over the background kind of randomly. The sentiment in the circle is from Studio G. Thanks for visiting!
