Hello! I made this card to follow along with the color challenge on the Riley and Company blog. The colors are red, brown and caramel. I stamped Cafe Riley with Memento ink and then colored everything with Copic markers and added a some hi-lights with a white gel pen. I used Nestabilities to cut out the image and a Fiskars border punch for the caramel panel. The papers are DCWV and the flowers are from Prima.Speaking of white gel pens, I would love to have your recommendations for a good white gel pen that will work for a long time? I have a nice collection of them, but none of them work for very long.
I am excited because I am going to see Mama Mia tomorrow night! I saw the play a couple of years ago and loved it. My MIL gave me and my SIL tickets as part of our Christmas gifts. I listen to the music all the time and can sing it from start to finish. Have a great night!

Gorgeous card! (I'll just pretend she's drinking diet pepsi, not coffee...since coffee is blecch to me...heehee).
My favorite white pen is the one by Inkssentials. It is AMAZING. Lasts nearly FOREVER and doesn't get all "gloppy" or dry out like a lot of them. I've had mine for over a year, and it's still going strong!

Gina, Riley is just too drinking his coffee!! That's what I doing now!! I got busy last night and forgot to come and leave you some love!!! I really love this color combo and it's not one I tried yet!! I love the highlights you have added. It give it a completely different look!! I use Sakura, but not for sure if it the best. It's only the best I've tried!! Can't wait until craft night Friday!! This time I am going to try to get something done!

OH NO! Another Riley I'm gonna have to have. This one is toooo sweet, and I haven't seen it before. Love the card. He looks so happy under that awning having his coffee and a cupcake. Gotta have!!!!

I have 2 white gel pens. One I can't remember the name and I can't find it at the moment (it's a popular line though). It works ok but doesn't turn white until it's drying and I don't like that. My other one is by Inkssentials and I like it very much. I have only had it a couple of months and it's still working fine. My first gel pen came from SU and it's similiar to my Inkssentials pen but it dried out quickly--could have been a fluke though. Many people seem happy with their SU white pen.
