All Bundled Up

I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. I worked on Halloween treats most of yesterday and am almost finished. I am so in love with this color combination right now. I love this shade of blue and white together. Today I decisided to make my own polka dots using a pencil eraser and white ink on my blue paper. Bella is colored with Prisma markers and I used Liquid Applique on her hat, coat and boots. The sparkeles around her feet are from a pack of glitter that I have had forever, they are round little circles and very thin. They are actually a lighter blue IRL but for some reason the picture is a little dark. The sentiment is from a Studio G (I think) pack that I got for $1.00 at Michael's. I stamped the sentiment with CTMH Lilac Mist and then went over it with a clear Gelly Roll glitter pen. Paper is DCWV and ribbon is Offray.

I joined a blogger group on SCS. There are some really cool blogs on the list, check them out when you have a chance, they are on my side bar. Thanks for stopping by!

I did it!

Every single year I say I am going to start making Christmas cards early. Every year I put it off and end up buying cards to finish up my list. But this year I did it! This is the first actual finished card, but I have several that are stamped out and some that are colored. We send out quite a few cards so I make several different types of them. I get bored after making about 8-10 of anything. So this is my first card and here it is not even the middle of July! This is Curly Surpriseabella and I thought I should color those packages in Christmas colors. I used my Prisma color pencils and OMS. The paper and cardstock are from DCWV. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set, December and the little star brads are from Jo-Ann's. Thanks to Angela for the Bella images. Merry Christmas in July!

Flowahbella

This is one of my favorite Stamping Bella images. I colored with with my Prisma pencils and OMS. I am really enjoying using this technique to color my images. I find it much easier to blend that with using the markers. It took me a long while to decide to invest in the Prisma pencils, but I am so happy I did. I think I was thinking of the coloring pencils I used in history class to color maps with, I didn't realize how vibrant of a color I could achieve with pencils. I do still love my markers too, but have been very pleased with the Pencils as well. Anyway, the background paper is from My Mind's Eye and the cardstock is DCWV. You can't see it in the picture here but the strip of brown was embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder. I only wanted a small area of that so I cut out one strip of the flowers. In the center of two of the flowers I put in some pale blue eyelets (Making Memories). I used to same brown cardstock behind the Bella that was cut out with my rectangle Nestabilities.
