I was in Michael's the other night and I decided to get some Shrinky Dinks. Man, I loved those things when I was a little girl! The picture is a little dark and all you can see is the shine on my little lady bug, but it is there. I drew a ladybug onto the Shrinky Dink paper and colored it in with my Prismas. Put him in the oven and presto, I have a ladybug charm. The ladybug stamp is from CTMH from the Solo K set, I omitted the sentiment that was surrounding the image, because I just wanted the ladybug. I colored her in and made the flight trail with my Prismas. After I colored the ladybug I covered her with Glossy Accents. The cardstock is from DCWV and the ribbon is from HL's floral area.
If you decide to make charms with Shrink Dinks, one word of advice: punch a bigger hole than you think you will need. I thought I would never get the ribbon through the hole that I punched. I can't wait to play with the Shrinky Dinks some more though. I had a little helper in my craft room this morning and we had fun using various die cuts to cut the Shriky Dink paper. It was a little hard for little fingers to color them when we did that though. Have a great rest of the weekend.
