Baby Card

Happy Monday to everyone! This was the other card I made for the Hanna Stamps release party. The challenge was to make a baby card using no pastels. That was a little harder than I thought it would be. Every piece of paper I found that I wanted to use had lighter (pastel) shades in it. I used my Cuttlebug Numbers embossing folder on the orange piece of paper because it made me think of the hours of the night going by while Riley is pacing the floor with the baby. The sentiment is one I generated on the computer and printed out on card stock. The polka dots weren't quite the right shade of blue so I went over them with a Sakura Glaze pen. I really am hooked on the dots right now, I don't seem to be able to make anything without them. Riley is colored with Prisma markers. All paper is from DCWV, except maybe the polka dots, it was from our scrap stash.

It would be hard for me to not use pastels also but you did a great job. I love how you used the numbers folder. That is funny!

Riley is soooo adorable, and so is this card - and that sentiment is perfect.
