S2G's Day 3 Release

Welcome to the Day 3 of the Shirley's 2 Girls Alice inspired release. Today's release is the Cheshire cat! I have always loved that cat and was so happy it was one of the images that I was able to work with. That character always fascinated me for some reason. Here is what the image looks like:

All the previews that I have seen for the upcoming movie show the Cheshire cat with these wonderful blue stripes, so that is where I drew my color inspiration. After sizing and printing my image, I colored it with Copic markers. For the card, I started with a black piece of paper and then added the blue circles. "Smile" is an epoxy sticker that I added to a smaller black circle. You need to so head on over to Jennifer's blog too, because she will also have a project made with this image.

So have you seen the movie yet? Planning to see it? I have only seen the Disney movie once and that was about five years ago. Somehow, I missed that one! I will be out of town for the next couple of days but I have the rest of the Sneak Peeks scheduled and will have lots to show you when I get back home!

Love the Cheshire Cat in blue...very cool :) Honestly, I don't plan on seeing the movie. The combo of Tim Burton & Johnny Depp is a bit too freaky for me....bring on the movies based on Nicholas Sparks novels :)
