This is the project that we made for card night with the ladies from my church. We get together once a month to make cards to send to shut-ins and Meals on Wheels recepients. Everyone donates a card or two for that purpose and/or we have a group project that we do to make some more cards. After we finish that we work on whatever personal papercrafting project we have going on at the time.
On this card, I used the Thanks a Latte clear stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps. All stamped images use CTMH inks, the coffee cup is Twilght and the outline is Chocolate. I stamped the steam onto vellum with White Daisy. I cut out the cup and steam and used a foam square to add diminsion and attached it to white cardstock and on two different brown cardstock squares. The background paper I made using Adirondack Inks (the Cabin Cupboard set) and shaving cream. I attached that to the brown cardstock that matched the middle layer where the cup is. I embossed the inside of the coffee cup with a mixture of UTEE and ground coffee. Smells so good! TFL!

I love the colors and the shaving cream background is fantastic. Don't you just love that technique!
Your card is superfantacular.
Also, I am so proud of you for starting this card making outreach at church. I know that it will be a blessing for all those that are involved and also for the shut ins that receive all of the beautiful cards from the group. Keep up the good work. YOU ARE AWESOME.
Love,
Your Hubby
